Interpretation center
Of the existing 242 bird species belonging to 42 different families, 5 of them are endemic and 3 are under danger of extinction. Furthermore, thirty percent are highly sensitive to their habitat changes. Some secies of rodents in the Sangay and Llanganates Parks have genetic affinity with those from Peru and the Amazon Rainforest. In some aspects, the Pastaza Corridor has a higher degree of biodiversity than the above-mentioned parks.
In our interpretation center you can observe images in real time from birds and insects.
